  4. Track Your Spending: As you adjust the numbers, watch the “Allocated” and “Remaining” totals at the top update in real-time. This helps you stay on track and not go over budget.

Tips for a Successful Wedding Budget

  • Prioritize: Decide with your partner what the 2-3 most important aspects of the wedding are for you (e.g., food, photography, entertainment) and allocate more funds there.
  • Get Quotes: Always get quotes from multiple vendors before booking.
  • Buffer Fund: The “Miscellaneous” category acts as a buffer. It’s smart to set aside 5-10% of your total budget for unexpected costs.
  • Read Contracts Carefully: Before signing, understand what is included and what might be an extra charge.
